A school district can be more restrictave than the VHSL if it chooses to be (i.e Dickenson County does Drug testing)
Re: Washington County School Board May Change Junior Varsity Rules
I'm not saying that a parent would win, but the VHSL rules allow 8th graders to play jv ball. If my son was an 8th grader and he was told by his coach that he had to play middle school because some parent of a 9th or 10th grader complained and the coach even told him that he was better, then I'd have a problem.
If my son was a 9th or 10th grader and an 8th grader was playing before him, I'd ask him if he wanted to get better or just sit on the bench for two more years.
LIFE IS NOT FAIR. EVERYBODY IS NOT A KENNEDY OR TRUMP. SOME OF US HAVE TO WORK HARD TO GET WHAT WE DESERVE.
Re: Washington County School Board May Change Junior Varsity Rules
i agree totally aoaofficial my son is is 8th grade now and there is a 9th grader playing on the first string my son is second string so i told my son to get better and try to beat out the 9th grader
